Amazon Ads reporting

Amazon Ads reporting for sellers who run their own ads.

What the service imports and shows

Connect your Amazon Ads account and Sellopod brings in three kinds of report through Amazon's Ads reporting API:

ReportWhat you see
Campaign performance, imported every daySpend, attributed sales, clicks, impressions and purchases per campaign
Sponsored Products search-term reportsSpend, sales and ACOS for each search term that triggered your ads
Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands placement reportsSpend, sales and ACOS by placement: top of search, product pages, rest of search

All of it sits next to your sales and stock in the same account.

What you can check

  • Search terms that cost money without sales. Look down the search-term report for terms with spend and no sales, and decide what to do about them in your Amazon Ads console.
  • Placements compared by ACOS. See whether top of search, product pages or rest of search is earning its spend.
  • Ad spend next to stock. Check whether you're still paying for clicks on a product that is running low.
  • Ad spend inside product profit. Amazon Ads spend is included in each product's profit in Sellopod. See how profit is worked out
  • Ask Claude. Through Sellopod's read-only MCP server, Claude or another MCP client can query your Amazon Ads campaign, search-term and placement data together with the rest of your Sellopod data, without changing anything. See AI access (MCP)

What it doesn't do

  • It doesn't change anything in your ad account. Sellopod reads your Amazon Ads data. It does not change your campaigns, bids or budgets.
  • It isn't bid automation. If you want software to set bids or move budget for you, Sellopod isn't that tool. You make changes in your Amazon Ads console.
  • Placement reports cover Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands. Search-term reports cover Sponsored Products.

Set it up in three steps

  1. Sign up and connect Amazon and your Amazon Ads account. What connecting Amazon Ads brings in
  2. Let the first daily import run.
  3. Start with the search-term report: terms with spend and no sales, then compare placements by ACOS.
