AI access (MCP)

Ask Claude about your stock, sales and Amazon Ads. Read-only.

Sellopod has a read-only MCP server. Claude, or another MCP client, connects to your Sellopod account over OAuth and can query your organization's data, including your Amazon Ads campaign, search-term and placement data, without changing it.

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the standard Claude and other AI tools use to connect to outside data.

Our sales team walks you through Sellopod with demo data on Google Meet.

It reads. It doesn't change anything.

  • Read-only. The MCP server can query your data. It can't change it.
  • Your organization only. A client sees the data in your Sellopod account, nothing else.
  • You connect it. Nothing is connected until you add Sellopod to your client and approve access over OAuth.

What it can query

Your organization's data in Sellopod, including:

  • Stock: levels per warehouse (Amazon FBA, your 3PL and your own), stock movements and transfers between warehouses
  • Purchasing: purchase orders to suppliers and the monthly forecasts you enter
  • Sales: the sales data Sellopod imports from your stores
  • Amazon Ads: campaign performance (spend, attributed sales, clicks, impressions, purchases), search-term and placement data

Set it up

  1. Sign up and connect your stores.
  2. Open the MCP setup dialog in Sellopod. It gives the configuration for Claude Desktop, Claude Code and Cursor.
  3. Add it to your client and approve access over OAuth.

Example questions

Example questions:

  • "Which search terms took clicks and spend last month without a sale?"
  • "Which SKUs have less stock across all warehouses than this month's forecast, and which of those have a purchase order open?"
  • "How much did we spend on Amazon Ads for this product last month, and how many units are in FBA and at the 3PL?"

Your AI, your data, your judgment

When you use Sellopod through MCP, the AI client and the AI provider behind it are your own; Sellopod's MCP server does not call an AI model. Your client sends the queries and writes the answer.

That also means Sellopod doesn't vouch for the answers. Before you act on one, check it against the screens in Sellopod.

This is different from the AI assistant inside the Sellopod app, which uses AI providers Sellopod chooses. The data-use page explains both.
